This Artist Spotlight features resources for art students and teachers on the life and work of Jeffrey Gibson (Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians and Cherokee descent) and was created in collaboration with Portland Art Museum, SITE Santa Fe, and Jeffrey Gibson Studio. It includes a gallery of Gibson’s artwork, biographical information, curatorial reflections, and a video interview. It also includes sources of influence and K–12 lesson plans created by a cohort of ten educators from Oregon and New Mexico.
