Nooksack River Watershed: The Nooksack River and its tributaries are important salmon habitat. Its salmon population, now in trouble, has always been important to the Lummi people.

Lummi Nation Salmon Recovery Projects, 1986–2008: Some of the many projects the Lummi Nation is doing to restore habitat and bring the Nooksack River salmon back. Projects are both on and off the Lummi Reservation.

All Partners Salmon Recovery Projects, 1986–2008: Some of the many projects being done by partners. Various organizations, the Lummi Nation, and other American Indian tribes work together to repair habitat and increase the salmon population.
