Choctaw Festival Day 2 - Storyteller Tim Tingle 1
Description
The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma celebrates its tribal history and heritage with two days of dance, song, storytelling, and artist demonstrations. In this segment, storyteller Tim Tingle honors a friend, writer Greg Rogers, with a true story of a magical encounter they both had with a fox. He then tells a story about his blind grandmother who eventually regained her sight. This is the first of two storytelling sessions by him on the second day of the festival. This program was webcast and recorded in the Potomac Atrium of the National Museum of the American Indian on June 25, 2014.
