- Zandra Wilson, a member of the Advancement staff at the National Museum of the American Indian, talks with National Native American Veterans Memorial project curator Rebecca Trautmann on the formation of the memorial’s Advisory Committee and the community consultation process. Over the course of 18 months, the museum hosted 36 community consultations to hear what American Indian, Alaskan Native, and Native Hawaiian veterans and community members wanted to see in the memorial.
