- As in years past, the Smithsonian Latino Center teamed up with the National Museum of the American Indian to celebrate the rich cultural heritage represented in the celebration of Día de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead. In this segment, the local Mixteca culture organization, Grupo Los Tecuanes, perform the traditional dance, Danza de los Tecuanes - Dance of the Jaguar, for the museum's annual Day of the Dead/Día de los Muertos celebration. This is the second of two performances of the dance performed on the second day of the festival. The program was webcast from the Potomac Atrium of the National Museum of the American Indian on October 30, 2016.
