The Cherokee people have a long history of harvesting seeds and passing them down. The Cherokee Nation Community Garden and Seed Bank keeps that tradition alive for new generations. Her presentation includes a lively identification game with the audience on traditional Cherokee plants used for food, ceremonies, and medicine. The presentation was webcast and recorded in the Potomac Atrium of the National Museum of the American Indian on July 20, 2018.
