Collection history unknown; acquired by Frank H. Waskey (1875-1964, a Congressional delegate to the United States House of Representatives for the District of Alaska in 1906-1907 and later a curio dealer in Nome, Alaska) at an unknown date; purchased from Frank Waskey by Major Jacob A.L. Möller (1883-1957, a collector of Latin American antiquities and a New York City manufacturer and importer) in 1948; donated to MAI by Major Möller in 1949.
