Made while the artist was a student at the Santa Fe Indian School (Santa Fe, New Mexico); acquired by Indian Arts and Crafts Board representatives from an unknown source before 1968; part of the IACB Headquarters collection (Department of the Interior, Washington, DC) until 2000 when it was transferred to NMAI.
