Collection History
Collection history unknown, but said to have been owned by Chief Paw-Paw (Ponca); formerly in the collection of Mose B. Shire (1858-1949, of Ponca City, Oklahoma); subsequently in the collection of Joe Forrest Haines (1904-1978, a Tulsa businessman and collector of Native items); acquired by MAI through an exchange with Joe F. Haines in 1966.
