Collection History
Collected in 1905, probably by Robert Biggar Bell (1861-1930), who worked as a fisherman and cannery supervisor at Ketchikan, Alaska, from 1887 to at least 1910; donated to MAI in 1953 by his daughters, novelist Margaret E. Bell (Margaret Wiks, 1898-1990) and Retta J. Brueger (1893-1987), in memory of Robert Biggar Bell.
