Formerly owned by Elisha Konkapot (Stockbridge Mahican, 1793-ca. 1855); acquired by Clark Cuish (Stockbridge Mahican, 1854-1945, who called himself Elisha Konkapot's son-in-law) at an unknown date; collected by Paul J. Warner (1881-1950, an amateur ethnologist employed at the Field Museum of Natural History, Chicago, Illinois) from Clark Cuish in 1933; purchased by MAI from Paul Warner in 1934.
