Purchased by Antoinette Brush Huntington (Mrs. Simeon Fitch Huntington, 1806-1890) in 1835 while she travelled along the Erie Canal; inherited by Mrs. Huntington's granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Miner (1865-1960); purchased by MAI from Miss Miner in 1933 using funds donated by Thea (Mrs. George) Heye.
