Scope and Contents: Photographic still from the film "Hopi." Four generatoins of Hopi women sit on the ground in front of a building to watch the dance on the Hopi Reservation, Arizona. Three older women sit around a seated young child on a blanket next to a woman with a baby in a carrier. On the right, a young women wears a butterfly coif and sits behind a child. The blankets and garments were borrowed from several museum collections for the filming. See also S03703, Plate I and II in "Rhythm for Rain."
