Scope and Contents
N53760-N53771 This set contains 12 nitrate negatives shot by Reverend James O. Arthur in Yellowstone National Park (Montana section) in August 1927. The photographs include depictions of Arthur's family including his wife Katherine Arthur (1883-1960); his sons James O. Arthur, Jr. (1915-2002), John Paul Arthur (1917-1987), and Robert Lee Arthur (1919-2000); and his daughters Margaret Jean Arthur (1913-2010) and Kathryn Arthur (1923-).
