Biographical / Historical
Albert Green Heath (1888-1953) was born in Chicago, Illinois. He was an amateur anthropologist who travelled throughout the United States buying, trading, and selling Native American Objects.

This collection is currently unprocessed. It contains 16 black and white silver gelatin prints and nine copy negatives collected by Albert Green Heath between 1884 and 1924. Photographers include Frank A. Randall, Ben G. Wittick, and Griggs Studio. Images primarily depict people posed in studios or outside in regalia or traditional clothing. Individuals identified in the photographs include Geronimo, Chief Mangas Coloradas (Red Sleeves), Chief Big Nose, Chief Nana (Kas-Tziden), Got-chai-eh, Chief Crazy Bear, Saucy Calf, John Stink, and Standing Bear.
