My Indian name is Tone Bawt which translates into Eagle Bone Whistle. It was my great, great Grandfather’s name. It was given to me by my uncle in a Native American Church prayer ceremony.

I am of the Kiowa and Plains Apache tribes. I’ve won numerous awards but feel that it isn’t important to list them. Hopefully, my paintings will speak for themselves. May you find beauty and inspiration all around you as I have come to know. Walk in the spirit of happiness and you will be blessed.

My painting comes from my heart. I don’t plan or draw before I paint. To some, that means going against the grain. The Creator guides my hand and thoughts so there is no grain to go against. He knows before I do what he wants others to see. I thank Him for this gift and hope that He is pleased. May you also be pleased. A-Ho (Thank you)."")
